October 08, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
We have set the price of this very rare book, according to current market value, at £1500.

BUT … we are dropping the price by £25 every week until this excellent copy sells!

The price is currently £1300!

This is the highly sought after 'Black Cat Special Edition', of which only thirteen exist, anywhere in the entire world! The book is housed in a slipcase, is signed, dated (25.6.2003) and numbered (9), and, contains a detailed and beautiful illustration of an owl with a jigsaw piece missing from its chest. The slipcase is also numbered with a Black Cat illustration.

In Fall's first print run with Collision in 2003, there were approximately 800 regular issues, 100 Limited Edition copies, and the very desirable 13 Black Cat Special Editions, of which this is number 9 of 13.We stress again that this is a True Black Cat Special First Edition making it the most rare and certainly the most valuable of all editions.

The book and slipcase are in MINT, AS NEW condition. In fact, we have only opened the book as far as the signed page! There are no stains, tears or folds to any of the pages. As well as this very rare book, we are also offering a full set of signed postcards, which were issued at the time of publication. There were fifty sets of four postcards produced and we are offering set number 9 of 50 - corresponding to the numbering of the book!

All four postcards are signed, dated (25.6.2003) and numbered (9).To make this auction even more enviable, we are also offering the corresponding poster which is also signed and dated (25.6.2003) and is also numbered 9/50. We think you will agree that this is an amazing and very rare and attractive package, with fully corresponding numbering!

This is a RARE opportunity to obtain this celebrated work, which led Book And Magazine Collector's Stuart Webb to write,

"As Chris produces further books, and the number of devotees continues to grow, I expect prices to steadily increase."
