December 4, 2010 – 'Hell is Other Drivers' Road Sense campaign is Carrentals.co.uk new road safety campaign, which is coinciding with Britain's 2010 Road Safety Week, and is being used to create awareness of the dangers of speeding and encouraging drivers to take more care when driving.

The campaign has been started because Brake, a road safety charity, has found that people that are driving too fast for the conditions or speeding kill someone every 14 hours on the UK's roads.

Focusing on providing advice for dangerous driving in the UK, the Carr
team and the new 'Hell is Other Drivers' campaign offers great discounts on emergency car kits from SurvivalBox; Me-Mo car accessories offers; winter clothing from OutdoorLook has savings; and BrightKids and Cyberglow have adult and children's reflective clothing which have reduced prices.

'Highway Code for Other Drivers' is a new book created by Carrentals.co.uk, which is written in a fun way about how to drive more safely and improve driving skills, but also mentions the dangers of driving too fast and driving dangerously.

The hire car comparison site also offers advice on safe driving with the help of the Highways Agency and the charity for road safety called Brake.

Carrentals.co.uk Managing Director, Mr Gareth Robinson commented on the campaign, "Road accidents claim the lives of pedestrians and passengers all around the country every year and it is imperative that we all heed the advice from the Highways Agency and Brake to stop these deaths occurring. We all know that speeding is dangerous but people are still putting other drivers' lives, as well as their own, in jeopardy from not driving with their full attention".

"Road Sense has been running for five years now and it was from last year's feedback that we found that people are concerned about the dangerous acts that other drivers do, such as tailgating or driving in reverse on a motorway. The new campaign is designed to stop these crazy actions and encourage a more safer environment for road users".

With offers from Sixt, Alamo, Holiday Autos, Auto Europe and Budget, Carrentals.co.uk is one the Britain's top comparison sites for car hire.
