December 15, 2010 - Starting this past weekend on the 12th December and running until the 2nd January, this year's pantomime production of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs is now playing at the respected Hawth Theatre in Crawley and will feature none other than the famous Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood as The Wicked Queen.

Complete with huge blue ball gown, red wig and heavy make-up, Mr Revel Horwood hopes to deliver an even more impressive performance than the same role he played in Wales last year.

He also feels the role compliments his 'baddie' public persona on the popular Strictly Come Dancing show, where he is perceived as being the most direct and uncompromising of the judge panel.

Mr Revel Horwood commented in a recent interview, "I am used to being portrayed as the 'evil' or 'nasty' one and taking up this part isn't going to help change that… It is a brilliant role, though, and it does give me a chance to show my human side, it is a lot of fun and I have some great lines… It will be a good show for kids to come and watch because I think they will like to boo me and I will be giving them plenty of opportunity to do that."

Presented by the world's largest pantomime producer, Qdos Entertainment, and staged by the same the team that produced last year's successful Cinderella pantomime, the Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs production this December promises to continue the Hawth Theatre's reputation of outstanding entertainment that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Strictly Come Dancing fans need not worry as judge Craig Revel Horwood is fitting his pantomime performances around his commitments to the TV show. Apart from this, he has been a busy man this year, having just completed directing and choreographing a new production of Chess for a UK national tour, among other projects.

Previous credits for the artist include theatre director/choreographer for West Side Story at the Prince Edward, Hey Mr Producer! at the Lyceum and Spend, Spend, Spend at the Piccadilly Theatre, for which he received the Olivier Nomination for Best Choreography. More information about his accomplishments and awards can be found on his website at www.craigrevelhorwood.com.

Apart from his many artistic activities, Mr Revel Horwood has used his increasing fame to raise awareness of osteoporosis and bone health, for which he was recently made a patron of the National Osteoporosis Society.

Mr Revel Horwood's co-stars for the production include theatre and TV actress Zoë Doano who will play Snow White, as well as Crawley local Jon Clegg (known for his comic panto performances) as Muddles.
