New York, New York – Author Cari Kamm makes her debut with the release of her first novel, Fake Perfect Me. Fake Perfect Me is both a heart-wrenching and heart-warming tale of Isabella Reynolds, the successful New Yorker who seems to have it all… until her "perfect" world suddenly comes crashing down. The deliciously dark and witty novel demonstrates that perhaps there is a grand illusion to glamour.

During Cari's writing process of Fake Perfect Me, she realized "Truth" had become her favorite word. "Living your truth and being true to yourself", is one of the most important themes the protagonist Isabella Reynolds explores throughout her journey as she comes to understand the value of loving one's self."

On November 22, 2010 Kamm released her first documentary, "What's Fake Perfect About You? Lights. Camera. Truth." The documentary can be viewed at www.carikamm.com. The short film features real people opening up and sharing their true fake perfect stories. Viewers can visit www.fakeperfectme.com to privately share their own story, while inspiring others by participating in the self-worth campaign.

Cari Kamm, a nutrition and beauty guru, knows the yearning for perfection all too well. She earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. Kamm lives in New York City and is a full time writer working on her second novel.
