Award Winning DVD Series "How'd They Build That…?" Wins Teacher's Choice Award

Los Angeles, CA. The award winning Children's series "How'd They Build That..?" has snagged yet another award, the coveted Learning Magazine Teachers' Choice Award for the Family.

In 1994, Learning magazine introduced the first Teachers' Choice Awards program. Over the years, the program has grown to become one of the most recognized and prestigious awards in the educational market. The Teachers' Choice Awards for the Family program was launched in 2004 to recognize companies whose educational products work in the home environment. Teachers evaluate the products on educational value, originality and creativity, ease of use, safety and durability, high-interest level and motivation for children. Each product is evaluated on its own merit. Once the scoring is complete, the scores for each product are averaged. The top 20% of all entries receive an award. Only those products that meet our teachers' stringent standards are chosen.

Each "How'd They Build That…?" program takes viewers along for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some of the country's most renowned assembly plants, showing how different types of vehicles – emergency, utility, delivery, construction, service and agricultural – are built, from frame stamping to assembly, engine installation to paint, to final inspection and activation.
