The ME Network TV ™ is attempting to usher new artist into the spotlight of the music industry, with the launch of its new website (www.theMEnetwork.TV) this Friday, the 21st of January. The website is the first step in the kick off of its music video television network, later this spring/summer. The music video network will feature music videos of undiscovered, talented artists who submit their videos through The ME Network TV™'s website.

There are many music critics and bloggers that share the opinion that the music industry in recent years has become a cookie cutter factory of the-same-old-artists-or-sounds - with no real "break-out" artists to speak of. Yet there's thousands of very talented artists trying to get their music discovered with no luck, through sites like YouTube. Mainly because their videos get lost in a sea of videos that have to be searched to be seen. The ME Network TV™ is hoping the launch of their website will change this.

Through The ME Network TV™'s website artists will be able to upload their music videos in the same fashion they do through other video upload sites like YouTube. But instead of having to search for their video, potential fans will find them being broadcast on The ME Network TV™'s music video network, when it launches later this year.

Artists will also be able to create a 'Fan Page' on The ME Network TV™'s site where "fans" will be able to purchase their mp3's (www.theMEnetwork.TV/bandsname). Viewers of The ME Network TV™ will be shown a link to an artist's fan page, at the beginning and end of an artist's music video. And artists will make up to 70% of an mp3 sale from their fan page.

The ME Network TV™ will employ a system of servers to broadcast its content. And will broadcast the content through the internet, in High Definition (HD) directly to viewers and select cable providers, later this spring/summer. With this setup The ME Network TV™ will be able to customize the feeds going out to cable providers - on the fly - to suite the provider's needs (such as providing a feed for cable providers of mobile video programming).
