'2011 HCMD Awards' Finalists Announced

NEW YORK, Jan. 19, 2011 - The 5th Annual Human Capital Management for Defense (HCMD) Award nominees are in and three finalists from each category have been selected by the expert panel of judges. This year's nominations came from offices and programs from across the federal government, representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, DISA, the IRS, Dept. of Energy, the National Park Service and the US Postal Service.

For the second year in a row, the HCMD Awards received over 35 nominations. "The judges really had their work cut out for them this year," commented Lisa Ringlen, executive director of the HCMD program. "There were so many strong programs nominated in each category."

Winners will be announced live at the HCMD Awards ceremony, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 as part of the 2011 HCMD conference which runs February 14-17 at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, VA.
