PEERME LAUNCHES PARTNER PROGRAM

Internet Voice and Instant Messaging Available to Portals

Digital Life, New York, NY and Mountain View, CA – October 14, 2005 – PeerMe, Inc. (www.peerme.com), a peer-to-peer voice communications technology company focused on voice enabling the Internet, today announced the PeerMe Partners Program created to accommodate Internet portals, classifieds Web sites, e-mail hosting companies and companies offering applications software to add PC based voice and instant messaging capabilities to their services.

PeerMe has developed a peer-to-peer voice and instant messaging environment supporting PC-to-PC and PC-to-handheld voice communications and instant messaging over public Internet connections. PeerMe’s technology can be used independently by users connecting on a peer-to-peer basis or integrated into Web communities bringing a new generation of interactive connectivity to users.

“The worldwide voice market is a trillion dollars, and poised for continued, rapid growth,” said Tom Lasater, founder and CEO of PeerMe. “We believe that PeerMe is in a great position to benefit from the current shift in the telecommunications industry as consumers and businesses begin to explore alternative options to traditional phone systems. In light of recent announcements by Google and Skype, more and more companies will follow the lead of these firms and investigate into the possibilities that peer-to-peer technology holds for their business model. As such, new peer-to-peer providers like PeerMe will have the opportunity to engage these companies and provide them with peer-to-peer services that complement their business.”

Multiple levels of participation are now available under the new program, including distribution, solution and services partnerships. Distribution partners offer the PeerMe software as a downloadable product off of their own Web sites as a service to their users. These partners include more than 200 Web download sites worldwide currently offering PeerMe. Solution partners work with PeerMe’s Integration Tool Set to integrate voice and instant messaging services into their portals. For instance, an Internet price comparison site utilizing the API allows users to search through a list of sellers offering a specific brand of product, and then click on the PeerMe icon to talk to any online seller instantly. Interested partners can contact Michael Romanies by e-mail at Mike@PeerMe.com.

Services partners offer their users peer-to-peer voice and instant messaging services within their existing portals with the ability to pre-load and register users to create accounts in either the PeerMe open network or a closed portal-specific network. CyberAgent, the leading provider of Internet media sales and management, electronic commerce, and advertising in Japan, is a PeerMe services partner and early adaptor of PeerMe’s technology. CyberAgent offers the PeerMe software as a branded voice and instant messaging platform to their 400,000 blog users through numerous CyberAgent portals and blog hosts. CyberAgent is aggressively targeting the addition of 10 million new users over the next year for the newly branded offering of Ameba PeerMe.
