The Best of Bollywood 2005 survey was conducted by Dhandaulat.com with 500 respondents from all over India. The age-group 18-35 years constitutes the majority of respondents.



The Best of Bollywood 2005 online survey conducted throughout India with 500 respondents came out well in favor of Black as movie and Amitabh Bachan as the undisputed King of Bollywood. The survey shows BLACK as a complete movie in whose favor, the respondents have voted for the Best Movie (49%), Best Actor (49.40%), Best Actress (67.40%), Best Director(49.80%) and Most Inspiring Movie of the Year. The fact that the maximum no of respondents belonging to 18-35 age group (77.40%) have voted for Black shows that the line dividing commercial and parallel cinema is quite blurred when the movie is just too good.



Rajpal Yadav and Bommai Irani have once again established themselves as versatile actors getting maximum votes for the Best Actor in Comic Role this time. These two actors have performed equally well in diverse roles, both serious and comic.

The fight for Best New face of the Year was very stiff where Shreyes (Iqbal The Rampur Express) has emerged winner with Randeep Hooda a close second.

Ram Gopal Verma's Sholey has been voted as most awaited movie beating Dhoom-2 and other nominations with huge margin. Anything with the element Sholey sells!
