Everyone Sells for Free at UsedPhone.com, the Cell Phone Marketplace

"There's a lot of used phone equipment out there, so let's all do something with it," says Bill Dorsey, the marketplace manager of UsedPhone.com. "Telecom technology changes so quickly, that a lot of equipment gets forgotten, and potentially thrown away in the trash. The goal of UsedPhone.com is to give users a quick and easy way to sell or donate this equipment, or recycle it in a responsible way."

To accomplish this goal, UsedPhone.com lets users list phone equipment for sale in a classified ad format, and also gives them links to resources for donating to charitable causes, or disposing of equipment with responsible recyclers. The ad system is organzied by brand, including well known brands such as Motorola, Nokia, Sprint, and also has categories for services and want to buy.

And, since UsedPhone.com is free to sellers, this should encourage entreprenuers, charitable organizations and phone dealers to list phones for sale and get them on their way to a new home, instead of ending up in the trash. Everyone's a phone dealer now, and UsedPhone.com is their marketplace.
