Running from Friday the 8th to Monday the 11th April 2011, the Xiamen Machinery and Electronic Exhibition will offer around 60,000 square metres of showcase space, offering visitors an exciting insight into the latest industry developments.

Expected exhibitors include manufacturers of mechanical aids to the construction, catering, printing and packaging industries as well as the makers of other accoutrements to the mechanical manufacturing field such as mould, materials, apparatus and instruments.

Open each day from 9am to 5pm, the event is expected to attract the leading experts in the electronics industry from across the world as well as those hoping to avail themselves of their innovations and expertise.

According to Lek Boonlert, head of marketing at Directrooms.com: "The Electronics Expo is likely to attract a number of visitors to the Xiamen area and with visitors and exhibitors all needing to be accommodated it is likely that there will be a high demand for rooms in the area. We would therefore advise any hoping to travel to the area for the Expo or any other reason around this time to book their hotels in Xiamen early to avoid being left out in the cold."
