Spiritual Journey in Poetry, a new book by Terry, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Spiritual Journey in Poetry is a collection of poems written to express the power of faith, love, and, most importantly, God. The poems deal with a variety of topics, such as friendship, family, loyalty, compassion, and the afterlife, all with an emphasis on the importance of embracing God in one's life.

Author Terry, a native of the Philippines, moved to the United States in 1959 to continue her education. She earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Sto. Tomas, Philippines, and her master's in sociology at the University of the Philippines, and for four years taught sociology and business psychology classes at the University of the East and the Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines. She then earned a master's degree in education at the University of Southern California, and Southern California, and served five years as USC's academic counselor and foreign student credentials evaluator.

She went on to work as the director of the local American Red Cross in Southern California for three years, then taught emotionally handicapped teenagers, and finally served as the executive director of the International Travelers Aid Society in Long Beach.

While living in Long Beach, she met Fred P. Koenig, a mechanical engineer educated at the University of California at Berkeley. They married, and, after retiring, the couple spent their time traveling. They made their home in Las Vegas, where Terry, now a widower, still resides.

Spiritual Journey in Poetry is an 108-page paperback with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-0880-3. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
