DirectRooms.com announces that Kaohsiung will be hosting a major conference for people working in opto-electronics to discuss the fundamental developments occurring to the industry.

As a technology industry, changes and new systems are constantly being created and Opto-Electronics and Communications Conference 2011 is aimed at gathering the leaders in each field to update people on the most current issues. Subjects to come under review will include core access networks, transmission systems; cables, optical fiber and fiber devices.

Department heads from universities worldwide will be in attendance along with leading researchers from companies such as IBM and Google who will be sharing their experience.

One particularly area of interest is the cloud era where massive data enters are being built combining network devices, servers and storage, and optoelectronics will feature heavily in this development.
