One of the most popular summer events in the United Kingdom is the Henley Festival and DirectRooms.com has just confirmed it. The festival, just a week after the Regatta, is a five-night long mix of art, culture, dining and music. Taking place between the 6th and 10th July 2011, the Henley Festival is one of the few well-established annual Black Tie events of its kind.

Audiences will be treated to an event filled with magic including classical music, opera, comedy, dance, jazz, street theatre, dance, rock-and-roll and firework displays. Event organisers promise that this year will be better than the last. In anticipation of the event, plenty of offers have come up for cheap Heathrow hotels, which are ideally located near the event.

Just one ticket per person allows for up to six timetabled events on each night as well as the visual galleries and ad-hock street theatre performances. Tickets also include access to eateries, bars and a wide range of catering concessions.

Visitors can take in wonderful performances as well as mingle with the stars that are part of the audience. Headliners for the 2011 Henley Festival include Tom Jones, Blake with Tasmin Little, Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and the ABBA Symphonic.

Proceeds from this year's festival will go to the Henley Festival Trust and will finance various charitable activities throughout the community including Nordoff Robbins for the use of music therapy in brain-injured children, HEDFAS and Bishopswood Special School Art Residency

On average ticket prices are approximately £110.00, but will vary depending on the events for the given evening.
