The Irish Family Research Team are pleased to announce the release of a number of extremely rare and important Searchable Databases via its Website - www.irishfamilyresearch.co.uk.

The latest Database Releases have been transcribed from:

West's Directory of Cork City & Environs, 1809 - containing details of approximately 2,000 residents (detailing full names, addresses and occupations);

Martin's Directory of Belfast, 1840/41 - containing over 5,000 entries of individuals residing in Belfast City a few years before the onset of the Famine;

Belfast General Election Register of 1841 - containing details of all persons voting at this City Election, (details of voting preferences available on request);

Shearman's Commercial Directory for Waterford & Kilkenny, 1839 - an extremely scarce directory containing details of all principal inhabitants, merchants & traders;

Downpatrick & Cookstown Directories for 1843, (Counties Down & Tyrone);

Macroom & Tarbert Directories for 1846 (Counties Cork & Kerry);

Crumlin Directory for 1870 (County Antrim);

Strabane Burial Register 1885-1892 (Co. Tyrone) - Transcribed from a Unique Manuscript Register originally compiled by the local Graveyard Caretaker, and containing valuable personal information about many of the deceased.

Omagh, Keady, Kilkeel & Fivemiletown Directories for 1892 (covering Counties Armagh, Down, and Tyrone); and

Rosscarberry, Co. Cork Directory for 1910.

All Databases are Searchable via Surname and/or First Name and are available to Full/Monthly & Premium Members of the Irish Family Research Website.
