Super Producer Boisterously Revives Rock – Again.

(Los Angeles, CA) —

When legendary producer Eddie Kramer of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and KISS fame (to name but a few) agreed to record fresh, European modrock sensation Hangface, there was no doubt that the amplifiers would be cranked. Freak Show, the debut disk by Hangface, shows immediate promise with an inherited rock bloodline and a potent catalog of incendiary modern rock tracks. While it’s apparent that Kramer’s deftness at the recording console contributes much to this rock quintet’s sound, it is the band’s ability to write and perform riffs and melodies that works on a level not heard in this genre in well over a decade or more.

Hangface first ventured into the international spotlight via a workhorse schedule that saw them tour the European continent and much of the USA: playing over 110 shows in the last eight months. At a southern states music convention, Hangface’s serendipitous meeting with rock impresario Kramer, turned out to be the group’s raison d’etre after the drummer dropped a demo into the super producer’s hand. While Hangface has played the requisite small venue/club scene, they have also shared the stage with rock heavyweights at Quart and the Sturgis Bike Rally, as well as headlining the recent Boulder Music Fest in Colorado and Psychfest in New Orleans, Louisiana. Signed by K-Entertainment of Los Angeles and with distribution in place throughout Europe, Hangface now enters the American market with distribution by Redeye USA. Hangface breaks out the Freak Show tent November 15, 2005.
