Californication Star David Duchovny Takes the Stage on July 30

Fans and critics alike have applauded actor David Duchovny's antics as novelist Hank Moody on Showtime's "Californication" for four seasons. Currently shooting the show's fifth season, Duchovny is carving out some time to help SA-YES, a charity supporting marginalized children and young people in South Africa.

On July 30, Duchovny and his former cohort in television crime, Gillian Anderson, are taking the stage for a Q&A event covering their entire careers, process and future plans. For "Californication" fans, the audience portion of the Q&A is a perfect opportunity to get the scoop from Duchovny on the new season, including what is next in store for Moody—last seen hitting the road alone for New York.

Tickets for the charity event are on sale now at: http://www.ibginc.org/specialseries. As an added bonus, meet and greets are also available for fans. If you've ever dreamed of spending some time chatting with Hank Moody (or Fox Mulder), this could be your chance! The meet and greets are being auctioned off on eBay through Saturday: http://shop.ebay.com/ibg_inc/m.html.

Founded in late 2008, IBG Inc (http://www.ibginc.org) established a non-profit focusing on utilizing the power of philanthropy through the arts to benefit a broad range of charities worldwide. We act as a "fundraiser facilitator" for micro-funded, under publicized, and start-up charities that would otherwise struggle with the logistics and costs associated with event fundraising. This work has taken on a critical importance as the economy has been slow to recover, and we find ourselves with increasingly frequent requests for assistance.
