DirectRooms.com reveals that hotel chain Mercure are about to launch a new Danang hotel on 1st August 2011 which will offer guests four star facilities and enviable room views out across the sea.

The Mercure Danang is set to become one of the premium locations of all Danang hotels with its range of facilities and easy access to nearby attractions. The airport is a ten minute drive away, and Da Nang beach is just 15 minutes by car while guests can explore the town of Hoi An which is also close by.

One of the most impressive features about the hotel is the 360 degree views as the rooms overlook the South China Sea and the Han River. There are 272 rooms in total and off in the distance are the Ba Na Mountains and the Marble Mountains which guests can easily get access to.

For people that wish to remain on site there's plenty to keep people entertained with a fitness centre, spa, tennis court, snooker room, swimming pool and even golfing facilities.

Mercure has around 700 hotels in 49 countries, all within the three or four star range and this latest location will take the group's total to four hotels in Vietnam; currently there are two places to stay in Hanoi and another in Phu Quoc.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: "As the hotel launches places will be competitive especially in the first few months so guests should plan ahead and book online."
