Clarinetist, Anthony McGill, performed at President Obama's inauguration and is one of the top wind players of his generation. He'll be joined by veteran violist Michael Tree, from the Guarneri Quartet, and rising star pianist, Anna Polonsky, for a special all-Brahms program at the American Philosophical Society on Sunday, December 11th, 2011 at 3pm.

Grammy-nominated flutist, Joshua Smith, captivates audiences with his "superlative control" and "breathtaking sensitivity." Appointed Principal Flute of the Cleveland Orchestra at age 20, Smith is equally at home as a leading soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. Entitled "Day and Night, I Call Only Love," Smith's PCMS recital debut with pianist, Christina Dahl, features a feast of romantic and modern compositions including rarely-heard gems by Elliott Carter, Robert Schumann and Carl Reinecke. The concert takes place at the American Philosophical Society on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 at 8pm.

The Philharmonic Winds of New York features five key players from the wind section of the world-famous New York Philharmonic. Known for their infectious sense of fun, energy, musicality and virtuosity, these "musical ambassador's" for the New York Philharmonic make their Philadelphia debut at the Independence Seaport Museum in a program that includes Reicha, Balcomb, Villa-Lobos and Françaix. The concert is on Sunday, April 29th, 2012 at 3pm.
