Christmas Decorations Store May Relocate Warehouse from Houston, TX to Rural Kansas

Houston, TX – July 22, 2011 - Christmas Decorations & Gifts Store, a successful online store noted for its extensive selection of Christmas decorations and gifts may be moving its facility from Houston, TX to Kansas sometime before the end of 2012 "to better meet customers' needs while maintaining profitability."

Joe Willmeth, owner of Christmas Decorations & Gifts Store, has formally applied to the Kansas Department of Commerce for an Exemption Certificate under the Kansas High Performance Incentive Program (HPIP). The HPIP exemption would allow the seasonal online store to conduct internet retail business with all of its customers, including Kansas residents, without charging sales tax. Depending on the successful outcome of the application the anticipated relocation would occur sometime in the second half of 2012.

"This move from Houston to Norton, KS, which is my childhood home, would be as good for the City of Norton as it will be for our store. Lower property costs will allow us to replace our currently leased warehouse with a larger facility and will bring from seven to ten new employment opportunities to Norton," –says Neal Willmeth who grew up and graduated from high school in Norton. He added that a major benefit to customers on both the East and West Coasts is that delivery time during the busy season will be one day faster!

Currently under consideration is the purchase of one to two acres of commercial property in Norton County, Kansas. Since land prices in rural Kansas are a fraction of those in Houston, TX this move would enable Christmas Decorations & Gifts to build a larger facility in Kansas-a 10,000+ square foot warehouse as opposed to the current 7,500 square foot warehouse and offices. This will translate into a better inventory that will allow customers a great selection for everything from an artificial Christmas tree to the gifts under it.

Christmas is coming regardless of the economic conditions and the Willmeths are determined that Christmas Decorations & Gifts Store will provide their customers with the best selection of ornaments from artificial trees and Christmas tree stands all the way up to Christmas tree toppers -not to mention Nativity sets and gifts at the best possible prices.
