DirectRooms.com – Manama hosts Bahrain's oil and gas trade event between 25 and 28 September 2011

DirectRooms.com reports that the oil and gas industry will be convening in Manama for the sector's foremost event which is also the longest running in the Middle East.

MEOS 2011 will cover all areas related to the extraction of oil and gas and will consist of a conference and exhibition. The conference is being run by the Society of Petroleum Engineers who have organised for some of its most respected members to come and talk at the event.

Topics set to be covered include a look at the future and where the industry is headed along with an analysis of areas such as reservoir development and production techniques.

Panellists will be holding discussions on drilling and going into detail on different methods such as deep water drilling, geosteering and borehole stability. During the exhibition attendees will then be able to meet with the leading suppliers and manufacturers of speciality equipment.

Companies such as ExxonMobil, Schlumberger and Baker Hughes will all be participating and showcasing their latest developments.

Attending delegates will need to book hotels in Manama for 25th to 28th September 2011 and near to the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre where both events will be held.
