Haunted Island, Maine, a new book by Patty Smith, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This book is a guide to help women understand the obstacles they may or may not have to go through to demand respect and to take their story to a court of law no matter the win or lose factor. The steps included in this book are things they will face before and after filing charges against a company and its owner and supervisors. None of it is easy, as you will see after reading this book.

Smith have left out names and places and changed them to protect the innocent, and this book was not written to destroy anyone's reputation and/or business. It is a true story, and this author feels the truth needs to be told to protect the very people who have been sexually harassed and/or assaulted.

Patty Smith is forty-four-year-old mother of one awesome man. She spent five years trying to tell her story about sexual harassment and assault. She had written her pain and fears for five years in a journal. It is her dream to help other women be able to tell their story and start on their journey from a victim to a survivor.

Smith's life since birth has been an adventure-some good, some bad-but her strength has come from her son's love and support. She always will be fighting for the rights of women in male-dominated professions and intends to go all the way with making sure we all know that women are as important and as strong as the next guy.

Haunted Island, Maine is a 106-page paperback with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-9695-4. Rose Dog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania published it.
