Singers Sought for 125th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty!

October 28th, 2011 marks the 125th Anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Millions of people from around the globe identify Lady Liberty as a beacon of hope and symbol of freedom.

The Tulsa Praise Orchestra has been invited to perform on this historic day. The orchestra will be joined by the Voices of our Nation Choir which will be made up of singers from around the country. Nationally acclaimed soloists Ernestine Dillard and Dave Boyer will join the tour in what will be a spectacular concert tour.

The "Statue of Liberty Tour" starts with a performance right on Liberty Island in famed New York Harbor and continues with concerts at the Church at the Gateway in Staten Island and at Keswick Bible Conference Center in Whiting, New Jersey.

The trip runs from October 26th to 31st, 2011. Singers of all ages are being sought to join this once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunity.

Ernestine Dillard is best known as "the woman with the voice who helped heal America" after singing at the internationally televised Memorial Service for the victims of the Murrah Federal Building bombing in Oklahoma City in 1995.

With her amazing vocal range and angelic delivery, Ernestine captivated the world as she sang a stunning rendition of "God Bless America".

Big Band vocalist Dave Boyer has performed throughout the nation for the past 45 years. Boyer's commanding voice and impeccable stage skills has made him a true entertaining favorite. Dave has worked with such names as Jimmy Durante, Pat Boone, Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and many more.

Dave Boyer has performed for 4 U.S. Presidential events throughout the years and, literally, every corner of the nation.
