Changes are happening in the world of medical scrubs. In an industry where for years nurses wore traditional white dresses and caps, the last few years have seen tremendous progress, and with each season more advances are made. Dickies scrubs are now offering revolutionary concepts in medical scrubs, in the form of New Blue scrubs and Natural Elements scrubs, among others.

Strategic Partners now owns the two medical scrubs companies, and after a little bit of turmoil, they have each found their respective niches. Both Cherokee and Dickies introduce new and exciting styles and prints each season. Cherokee's fall line has debuted a style sensation, while Dickies has introduced revolutionary new concepts. Cherokee scrubs has put on the shelves never before seen prints, in flattering styles, such as Cherokee Two Times the Beauty V-Neck Top. This tops is style conscious, with a soft floral print in pastel colors, a v-neck, and slenderizing shirring at the two sides of the waist. Tooniforms scrubs by Cherokee have also seen additions of new prints with familiar characters such as Betty Boop, Hello Kitty, and others. All of Cherokee's lines have been updated for fall, whether with new colors, styles, or cuts.

One of Dickies new lines is called Dickies New Blue. It is making waves in the industry, offering scrubs in a hip denim color. Some find it unprofessional, but nurses love the new idea of wearing your favorite jeans to work. The collection offers scrubs in dark indigo blue and light indigo blue, with unisex styling and missy cuts. There are even New Blue prints that coordinate with the denim scrub pants!

Dickies' other exciting line is Natural Elements. Scrubs in this line are made out of fifty-five percent tencel and forty-five percent polyester, for added stretch. The tencel is made out of the wood pulp of hardwood trees, and is therefore a naturally occurring resource. Tencel, otherwise known as lyocell is the hottest new fabric, with a texture that is soft like cotton, and an ability to wash well. Dickies is the first to introduce it to the apparel industry. Natural Elements are finished with hand carved coconut buttons for an organic look. Dickies has also added new looks to their other lines, such as Hip Flip scrubs, Gen Flex scrubs, and others.

Now is a great time to purchase new scrubs from Cherokee and Dickies with new and improved features.
