Dr. Gregory Cunningham, the Music Director of the WSO, said, "This season is one that is going to provide our audience a lot of variety. It's my second year with the orchestra, so I wanted to make sure to continue to broaden what you might find in the concert hall. The pieces we've programmed for this year are very divergent, with many different skill sets having to be brought to bear."

Season tickets for adults are $95, while individual concerts are $23. Seniors and students receive discounted rates.

In addition to announcing the 2011-2012 season, the WSO is also unveiling a new website and blog. Eventually the site will be full-service, allowing patrons to purchase tickets, make donations, and access extended program notes at warrensymphony.org.

The Warren Symphony Orchestra is in its 39th season serving the tri-county area. Dr. Gregory Cunningham directs the orchestra, which is made up of up to 65 professional musicians. The group performs a broad spectrum of music from traditional classical, to tongue-in-cheek comedies and satirical works. In addition to performing its regular concert schedule, the WSO also operates educational programs that bring thousands of elementary school students to an
orchestra concert, many for the first time.
