"I'm in Love with My Doctor but He Doesn't Know It: Kept Secret," a new book by Linda Patrice Smith, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

"I'm in Love with My Doctor but He Doesn't Know It" recounts the experiences of the author over the course of nearly a decade of her life, during which she confronted numerous challenges and difficulties-all the while maintaining her faith in the power of love.

Ms. Smith seeks to encourage readers who struggle in their relationships with family and friends and particularly to support Christian singles. Her story emphasizes persistence and a determination to never give up on love and be honest with yourself about your desires and your feelings. In the daily struggle in the flesh, we must always remember that God is Love.

About the Author:
Linda Patrice Smith is a native of the Bahamas and resides in Florida with her children, Antonio, Robert, Victor, Eddie, and Shakitra. She studied at Penn Foster Career School in Scranton, PA to become an occupational therapy aide and is a former member of the Joint Services Military Academy. She is also a former volunteer at a New York elementary school in Brooklyn, and a former member of the New Dimensions Pathfinder church club. Ms. Smith is also a member of Cambridge Who's Who and recieved the VIP award for 2008/2009. She was a member of her church choir in Miami, Fl., New York City, and New Jersey.

Ms. Smith's interests, in addition to writing and reading, include travel, cleaning and cooking, jazz music, puzzles, rock and coin collecting, meeting people, and dancing. She is currently working on several new books.
