Although the Green Bay Packers have started out a very sluggish 1-5, fantasy football fans still believe in the Packer offense. The Brett Favre crew has had a multitude of injuries this year, and this past week, both Ahman Green and Robert Ferguson went down with injuries. Green is out for the year, while Ferguson is expected to be out 4-6 weeks with a sprained left knee. As a result, both Ferguson and Green are the most dropped players from fantasy rosters for week 8.

What is most surprising in this week’s roster moves, is that fantasy football players are not looking at other teams to replace Green and Ferguson. The most sought after free agents are Green Bay WR Antonio Chatman and Green Bay RB Tony Fisher, says Todd Lokken from Strategic Fantasy Football. “Fantasy players obviously feel that there is still plenty of offense in Green Bay, and with Brett Favre still throwing touchdowns to virtually anyone who lines up in the WR slot, the fantasy production will continue.”

Other most dropped players include Minnesota WR Travis Taylor, who has basically been invisible for the last 3-4 weeks, and former Dallas kicker Jose Cortez (who was picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles). Other most added players include Dallas RB Marion Barber and Pittsburgh TE Heath Miller.
