"Qualifications to the Calling," a new book by Paul J. Bugbee, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

In "Qualifications to the Calling," Paul J. Bugbee recounted his painful memories as an unfit epileptic, from the time he acquired the disease at age six until his adult life.

Growing up, he struggled to feel his indifferent father's recognition and affection. This unconcerned treatment went on, and worsened, when he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. Devastatingly, even at school, he became the object of bully among students and teachers. As he grew older, his situation did not go well. His illness relapsed together with his physical, mental, emotional, and psychological capacities. However, despite facing heartbreaking circumstances, his spirituality did not dither.

Every person, regardless of his or her status in life and health conditions, needs love, understanding, care, and acceptance. God teaches his children to be compassionate to one another, but many still fail to follow. But Paul showed his strong faith by accepting his whole being amidst his imperfections and by believing that God chose him to be his servant in faith and be the hope of all those who endure.
