8th Annual Defense Logistics Awards Finalists Announced

New York, NY. November 17, 2011 – The 8th Annual Defense Logistics Awards nominees are in and the finalists from each category have been selected by the panel of judges.

"We wish we could make everyone a finalist," said Amol Tembe, program manager for the Defense Logistics Awards. "Every submission deserves recognition, and though all submissions were very competitive, sadly we must limit the field for the finalists round. Every single program submitted does not go unnoticed! We realize the impact they have had in supporting our warfighter," he continued.

The winners will be announced live at the Defense Logistics Awards ceremony on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 as part of the 2011 Defense Logistics conference which runs November 29-December 2 at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Arlington, VA.
