Free & Easy Traveler Launches Amateur Photography Contest for Greece & Turkey Adventure Trip

Edmonton, AB, November 22, 2011 – Free & Easy Traveler, a leader in group adventure travel, has launched a photography contest for all amateur and aspiring photographers who have the opportunity to land a job working as a travel photographer for their upcoming 40-day Greece & Turkey trip this Summer.

"Free & Easy was founded in a university while I was still a student," says Curtis Smith, Free & Easy Traveler's founder. "Students and today's youth are the roots of the company, so we looked at this contest as a good opportunity to meet our own photography needs as well as reach out to young artists looking for a break and a chance to display their talents. So to give those amateurs and aspiring photographers a chance to be recognized, we won't be accepting any submissions from professionals."

To register for the contest, photographers need to visit the Free & Easy website and submit a five photo portfolio along with a written description of "why this job is perfect for you". The contest will be held on the adventure travel company's Facebook Page and is rumoured to include a playoff-style bracket system. Deadline for submissions is January 1, 2012.
