The official relaunch of the Digital Print Partnership as Printed.com, including the unveiling of a brand new website. To mark the change of name, the last customer to place an order on Digital Print Partnership and the first to place one on Printed.com received their orders absolutely free of charge.

The change of name and the website update that went with it were essentially made for branding purposes. Whilst Digital Print Partnership was a successful company, attracting many happy customers over the years it has been operating, Printed.com is a shorter and more memorable name. It was felt to be more descriptive of what the company does and better suited to business in the internet age – which is, after all, what they are all about. When the chance came to move to the new domain name, there were many benefits and few downsides.

The transition to the new site was seamless. The last order was placed to the Digital Print Partnership at 17:48 on Thursday 27 October, and the first order to Printed.com was placed 18 minutes later at 18:06. The surprised customers – both first-time users of the site – were contacted by the Printed.com team to let them know their orders would be printed and dispatched free of charge.

Besides the change of name, the company continues to offer exactly the same service of high quality, cost-effective digital print across a wide range of products. Printed.com continues to grow and is set to become the largest web-based print company in the UK, supported by plans to unveil many new products and services over the coming months.

Customers need not worry that they will experience any problems due to the changes. The old Digital Print Partnership website automatically redirects to the new one, and all emails and other communications will also come from the Printed.com address.

Should customers have any questions about the change of name, or wish to discuss a digital print order, they can get in touch by email at theteam@printed.com or by phone on 01670 706 895.
