Walk a Mile in the Shoes I Wear, a new book by Jay F. King, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This is the story of the author's life-with both the good times and hard times. It's about chance meetings with celebrities, humorous stories in the blue-collar field, overcoming depression deep enough to entertain thoughts of suicide, traveling and meeting people from the internet. It's also about the discovery of a brain tumor and mistreatment during subsequent recovery in a nursing rehabilitation facility by a real-life "Nurse Ratchett." Ultimately, the story is about Jay finding that, even though he had lost faith, God had not given up on him. From the average working man to people in the medical profession, there's something in this story for everyone.

About the Author

Though never destitute, Jay F. King has lived most of his life with an income that would be considered below the poverty level, even being homeless for a bit. He grew up with a passion for motor sports and music, racing for a short time with the NASCAR Association and running an internet music room. Although many have called him an inspiration, he will be the first to tell you he is nobody special. In his own words, "I'm just a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy."

Walk a Mile in the Shoes I Wear is a 136-page paperback with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-8602-3. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
