Miguel the Magnificent and His Magic Tricks, a new book by Vicki Magness, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Miguel is a Hispanic boy who loves to make people happy with his shows of magic until one day no one is happy. What does Miguel do? Is he doing something wrong? How does he make them happy? This is a delightful book in English and Spanish for those of dual languages.

About the Author

Vicki J. Magness is currently a graduate student at the University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in language arts and reading. She hopes to work as a middle school teacher at an El Paso school. Her goal is to be a mentor and guide for teenagers while instructing the fundamentals of reading and comprehension.

Magness previously graduated from Howard Payne University with a bachelor's degree in business management in 2005. She also attended El Paso Community College in 1994 and received her associate's degree in automotive technology. Magness has spent over thirty years as a missionary in Mexico, Puerto Rico and on the border of Texas and Mexico.
