My Birdie Buddie, a new book by Joan A. Sandmann, has been released by RoseDog Books.

The story of My Birdie Buddie captures the magical spirit of a child.

The child in the story hears what the adults around him cannot, and he trusts in them and himself enough to share his special ability: He can hear a bird speak to him.

He believes the bird wants to meet him and become his buddy, believing it can happen if he follows his heart. Though he uses a wheelchair and others cannot hear the bird, he knows he has to find a way to reach out and meet this new friend.
