Children's Coloring and Activity Book, a new book by Shelvie J. Birchield, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This book is about teaching children. Intended to teach them the importance of faith and give them some direction through the Word of God, this book is about teaching children the path to God. It is about giving them something interesting to do while they learn, and making learning an interesting experience. The author believes her book will put God in the minds of children at an early age and allow them to grow up with Him in their lives. One of the best ways to do that is through a book of spiritual activities from the Word of God.

Children will enjoy the Bible stories as well as learn from them.

About the Author

Shelvie was one of the leading music, singing and praise dance teachers of the South and has worked with children for over forty years. Her main interest and experience was with young children, from two to thirteen years old, but she has worked with all ages.

She feels strongly that parents can have a say in what their children are exposed to while growing up. She also believes children must be taught to reference God at an early age and know that He loves them.

Her newly published book, Children's Coloring and Activity Book, will play an important role in the teaching process. It will not solve all of parents' problems, but it will help them teach and instill faith in God and his Word in their chidlren. Shelvie has been writing under the inspiration of God for a few years, and she enjoys creating good works for children and adults as well.

She and her husband are the parents of three lovely daughters. They have married and moved to various parts of the world. They have children and grandchildren of their own, making Shelvie and her husband the proud great-grandparents of eight children.

Children's Coloring and Activity Book is a 154-page paperback with a retail price of $8.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-8682-5. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
