Solana Beach, Calif. (February 17, 2012) – SUPERVALU Chief Design Officer, Sharon Lessard will be joined by Ikonic Tonic Chief Marketing Officer, Brian Dyches, on March 1, 2012 in Las Vegas to present a thought provoking presentation sponsored by the Retail Design Institute on the "Future Store: Do's and Don'ts of Implementing Cutting-Edge Technology into Retail." The duo will be part of the GlobalShop trade show that is produced by The Nielsen Company.

The mobile and technology retail marketplace, as seen from major national retailers such as SUPERVALU, is driven by practical steps - the do's and don'ts - that ensure the introduction of new technologies are well balanced and executed into the customer experience. Lessard will share her viewpoints and insights into current programs underway at SUPERVALU brands. Additionally, she will share her own professional insights into the latest technology hardware recently showcased at the NRF (National Retail Federation) in New York.

Dyches serves as the International President of the Retail Design Institute and Lessard as the President of the Minneapolis chapter of the Retail Design Institute. The Institute is a leading voice of the retail environment and customer experience professionals who are undergoing a sea change as technology rapidly converges with the physical world.

As a consumer behavior and customer experience expert, Dyches will speak to the major market influencers making their way around the consumer space - from mobile technologies and applications, gamification, mobile social applications such as Foursquare, QR Codes to AR (Augmented Reality), SMS, Location-based services, as well as new touch-screen technologies. Dyches will showcase a relatively new brand, C. Wonder, that was featured on the NRF and Trend Habitat retail tours last month in New York.

As an added bonus, attendees will receive a comprehensive "road map" of the current technology landscape, which will be an ideal work sheet for attendees to understand the technology language that their clients will increasingly speak.
