Free & Easy Traveler Photography Contest Down to Two Finalists for Winning Greece & Turkey Adventure Trip

Edmonton, AB, February 28, 2012 – Free & Easy Traveler, a pioneer company in adventure travel, is in the midst of hosting a travel photography contest for amateur and aspiring photographers. The contest showcases the art of 24 young photographers on the Free & Easy website and integrates them through the company's Facebook Page to garner votes for each contestant. The winner of the contest will be given a job as a travel photographer on Free & Easy's inaugural 40-day trip to Greece and Turkey this summer.

During the fall, hundreds of submissions were sent in by photographers from all around the world for their chance to compete in the contest happening right now. "It was really incredible to see the response we got after announcing the contest," says Chad Smith, Free & Easy's artistic director, "I think it really shows how many amazingly talented young photographers are out there that just haven't gotten any recognition yet. It was very difficult to narrow all submissions down to just 24, but we were very happy to be able to display 24 young artists' work and give one of them the chance to use their talents with us and take one step forward in advancing their career."

The contest is currently in its final round, which has narrowed down the field of 24 to two finalists, and has their portfolios competing head to head on Free & Easy's Facebook page in elimination style competition. The contest concludes on February 29, when one photographer will be crowned the winner and have their flight booked for a 40-day Greece & Turkey Adventure Trip.
