Wolfman Dave, a new book by David Earl Mize, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This story is a blend of action, horror, and adventure. David Strongwaters was a young boy who was sent to live with his Aunt Lillian. He was desperate for a friend, and one day he encountered a huge animal with dark reddish skin that was able to jump a ten-foot tall brick fence. Upon seeing the wolf, Dave smiled and called the wolf "friend." The wolf licked his face and the boy hugged the animal's neck. It was as if they had known each other forever, and on that day, they became as one. The red wolf would visit Dave at least once a week at dawn.

Dave had a hard time at school with his classmates and teachers. Everyone called him "half breed" and made fun of his long hair. Twice when his Aunt Lillian and his mother were not around, his stepfather tried to sexually abuse him. As a way to escape his problems, he was taught to box by his Aunt's boyfriend, Jose, and his Uncle Noah. He trained hard and found success as a teenage light/middle weight.

When he was still a teenager, Dave killed his first victim and had an unquenchable appetite for raw meat. Kicked out of his home, he joined the Army and became an Airborne Ranger/Special Forces and experienced a lifetime of conflict and challenges from there. If you like action, horror and sex, you are going to love this story. You won't be able to put it down.

Wolfman Dave is a 348-page paperback with a retail price of $26.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-8891-1. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
