Streams of Poetic Proverbs, a new book by Revel Martin, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Streams of Poetic Proverbs is a combination of creativity, fiction, commentary, and the contemporary yet truthfulness. These poems are personal to because Revel Martin sees himself in them and he shares his experiences through them.

It's the empathy he felt with life's unfairness, an unsuccessful marriage, abuse, spiritual torture, and being lonely and alone that Martin asked the Lord what he must do. He prayed and asked for a talent, and it became a reality through this book.

Some of these poems originated in a slightly different form in Trinidad and Tobago.
