John Heithaus, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SuperStar Records has announced that "The Upside of Lonely" will gain exposure to a potential audience of nearly 5 million listeners on Delta Air Lines' in-flight radio station for the next two months. The selected song is from BOOM!, Tom Hambridge's latest solo CD on SuperStar Records, and will be featured on the Hello Music Independent Channel.

Delta Airlines has the largest music marketing program of any airline. In addition, Hambridge and SuperStar Records will be listed in Sky, Delta's in-flight magazine, which has a readership of over 10 million travelers.

Released in September, 2011, BOOM! has received tremendous critical acclaim across the globe and Tom's fans consider it among his best solo efforts ever. Says Hambridge: "I write songs to stand the test of time and "The Upside of Lonely" presents a twist on a familiar theme by offering fans a 'happy' blues song that everyone can relate to."

The CD offers 11 original tunes recorded by Hambridge featuring many of Nashville's A-list studio musicians. Hambridge is best known for producing Buddy Guy's two latest albums, both Grammy™ nominated and one, Living Proof, won the 2010 Grammy™ for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

In 2011, Hambridge also produced albums by George Thorogood and blues great Joe Louis Walker in addition to writing a number of Top 100 hits for a who's who of American performers from Miranda Lambert to Billy Ray Cyrus to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Just last month Tom performed with Mick Jagger, BB King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck and the rest of the White House All Star Blues band on the PBS performance "Red, White and Blues" for President Obama and guests at the White House in Washington, DC. Check your local PBS station for show times.
