LateRooms.com - International galleries to attend Art Dubai

More than 70 galleries from around the world will be represented at Art Dubai, which returns for its sixth edition on Wednesday March 21st.
 
Taking place at the Madinat Jumeirah, the four-day event brings the international art community together to discuss new works and celebrate the latest innovations.
 
Galleries from 32 countries are due to participate, with the work of more than 500 artists on display.
 
The list of exhibiting galleries includes Carbon 12 of Dubai, Jakarta's Galerie Canna, Brazil's Bolsa De Arte, Grey Noise from Pakistan and the Sutton Gallery from Melbourne, Australia.
 
As well as the chance to view paintings, sculptures and more, Art Dubai includes a programme of artists' residencies, commissioned projects, performances and workshops.
 
Tickets for the art fair can be purchased from the venue from Tuesday March 20th onwards, priced at 50 dirhams (£8.50).
 
Last year's edition attracted roughly 20,000 visitors and the event is expected to be just as popular in 2012.
