Hugely Controversial Weight-Loss Site Takes on Two Tough Issues: Healthy Breakfasts and Losing Lower Belly Fat

(Wixom, Michigan) Rob Poulos, founder and co-owner (with his wife, Kalen) of the very controversial quick weight loss program featured at their site FatBurningFurnace.com, recently gave an interview where he tackled two of the toughest issues relating to weight loss: learning how to prepare a healthy breakfast, and how to effectively (and safely) lose lower belly fat.

During this interview, Poulos detailed a number of tips regarding breakfast. "Of course, everyone has been told, over and over, that 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day'. We don't disagree with that at all — but we wonder why, despite it's supposed importance, do so many people eat breakfasts that are just plain dangerous to their health?"

In his interview, Poulos detailed a number of important points relative to
healthy breakfasts for weight loss. Perhaps the most important point, overall, according to him, is to choose the correct foods to eat. "For example," Poulos said, "many folks try to stay away from eating protein foods, particularly for breakfast. But our findings, as well as our personal experiences, suggest that some protein for breakfast is in fact a healthy thing."

Elaborating further, Poulos explained the rationale for favoring a protein-dense breakfast: "When you incorporate proteins — lean proteins like eggs or beans — in your breakfast, you are introducing foods that digest much more slowly than refined carbohydrates. This will help to stabilize your blood sugar and keep you feeling fuller for the rest of your morning. This results in much less temptation to snack or reach for foods that are unhealthy."

On the subject of how to lose lower belly fat, Poulos was equally outspoken in his views, explaining that again, the foundation of success was also in the selection of proper foods to be eaten. "If you are trying to lose stubborn lower belly fat, you have to take an honest look at the foods that you have been eating. They are often the source of your troubles — high-sodium junk, highly refined flour, refined sugars and products with high-fructose corn syrup, fast foods of all types — if you are eating those you are setting yourself up to fail even before you begin."

Asked to provide some good alternatives, Poulos stated, "In place of all the nasty foods that you have learned to eat as a habit, introduce foods like apples, which are an excellent nutritional source, as well as containing good sources of natural sugar to keep your energy up. You can also start eating beans, spicy jalapeno peppers and spinach, which is a good source of iron. Exercise is important too, so keep your cardio routine going, but also learn some exercises that target and tone the specific muscle groups in your lower belly area. These are strategies that everyone can use."
