Thule Apex Hitch Bike Racks Launched Nationwide, Thule Racks 9027, 9026 and 9025 available for purchase
Montpelier, Vermont March 27, 2012 Sports News(PRLEAP.COM) Leading nationwide retailer and distributor of vehicle gear and equipment transport solutions, ORS Racks Direct, has just announced the recent release of the all-new Thule Racks Apex hitch bike racks. The Apex Series represents the latest, most advanced innovations, design and high performance features in the rapidly growing vehicle trailer hitch mount bicycle carrier category. All Apex models deliver rapid bicycle loading convenience, total bike stability during transport, full system locking security and easy access to the rear of the vehicle - Thule 9027 Apex Swing 4 is a swing away hitch bike rack offering full access to the back of the car, while both the Thule 9026 Apex 5 and Thule 9025 Apex 4 hitch bike racks feature a tilt-down design for accessing the back of the vehicle. All models are available for purchase and immediate shipment from ORS Racks Direct.
"Every year we can count on Thule Racks to focus on a major gear carrier category and thoroughly redesign, upgrade and improve on the current models with an all-new series of carriers that feature advancements and innovations never before seen in the industry," comments Catherine Case, ORS Racks Direct Consumer Relations and Sales Coordinator, "and for the 2012 season it's the incredibly popular hitch bike racks category. The result is the Apex, a revolutionary series of three model options that include the 9027 Apex Swing 4, the 9026 Apex 5 and the 9025 Apex 4. Here at ORS Racks Direct we've been busy learning all about the features and testing them out in all conditions and transport configurations. No doubt we are amped to introduce our customers to these products, and really psyched to see and hear all the positive feedback we know we'll be hearing from more than satisfied customers and owners of Apex bike racks."
The marquee product offering in this new series is the Thule 9027 Apex Swing 4 hitch bike rack (http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-apex-swing-4-bike-hitch-rack-9027.html), which replaces the now discontinued Thule 964 Revolver model. The highly engineered swing away hitch bike rack design featured on the 9027 ApexSwing 4 allows for the most convenient and easy way to get at the back of the car the bike rack is mounted on. Simply swing away the carrier off to the side, even when all bicycles are loaded up. The Hold Fast RDT (Road Dampening Technology) bike cradles with integrated No Sway cages work together and provide total bicycle stability and protection during transit. The bike cradle arms can fold down using the Hitch Switch Lever. The Snug-Tite Stinger provides the most secure and stable connection to any 2 inch trailer hitches. Full system locking security is also included for securing the 9027 Apex Swing 4 bike rack to the vehicle and all bicycles locked to the carrier. Holds up to 4 bikes and fits 2" trailer hitch receivers.
The other two models available are the Thule 9026 Apex 5 hitch bike rack (http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-9026-apex-5-bike-hitch-rack.html), which accommodates up to five bicycles and fits 2 inch hitches, and the Thule 9025 Apex 4 hitch bike rack (http://www.orsracksdirect.com/thule-9025-apex-4-bike-hitch-rack.html), which accommodates up to four bicycles and fits both 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch trailer hitches. Instead of a swing away design, these two models feature a tilt down mode that allows the carriers to fold down and out of the way when accessing the rear of the car. Otherwise the 9026 Apex 5 and 9025 Apex 4 include all the same premium features found on the 9027 Apex Swing 4 model.
