SGA Production Services, Leading Stage Rental and Seating Systems Company, Adds New Staff

Leo English came on board SGA Production Services in September of 2011 with a mission from SGA's President Tom Hilton, "guide us in making SGA Production Services a world class Scenic Company".

Given SGA's short history as a scenic company, Leo has taken on the challenge by assembling a team of respected and seasoned industry veterans with a wide base of experience and an established history of successful projects within the entertainment community.

English's first management acquisition, in late 2011, was Kathy Woodard. Woodard is a 35 year veteran privileged with an extremely wide entertainment related base of experience. Woodard has managed projects in almost every type of venue and event in the entertainment world. She also has a background in safety and overhead rigging inspection.

Greg Piper joined SGA Productions Services, Scenic Division in January of 2012. Piper is a second generation scenic services professional, who grew up working in his family scene shop in Honolulu. Piper has overseen hundreds of productions worldwide, spanning all aspects of the entertainment industry for over 40 years.

The latest addition to the SGA team is Johnny Motoc. Johnny comes to SGA from FX Design Group where, for the last seven years, he has lent his sales and production expertise to numerous projects, including corporate events, museum quality corporate interiors, with a special focus on custom studios for the US broadcast industry. Prior to that, Motoc served as Production Director and Stage Manager for dozens of theatrical productions for such organizations as The Juilliard School, Utah Opera, Opera Carolina and The Chicago Opera Theatre to name a few.

The additions to the SGA scenic team, combined with SGA's well-established stage rentals and seating systems expertise, position SGA Production Services as the total scenic solution for event related or permanent installations.
