The first major show of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) season takes place in Cardiff later this month, with large crowds expected to visit the city's Bute Park for the occasion.
 
Running from Friday April 20th to Sunday April 22nd, the event will offer vibrant floral displays, live entertainment, interactive features and the chance to receive advice from gardening experts.
 
There will be more show gardens than ever before at this year's RHS Show Cardiff, as well as two floral marquees. One of these is set to contain a golden daffodil display by Ron Scamp, who has been named best floral exhibitor at the show for the past six years.
 
Other highlights of the programme include an urban gardening showcase by landscape designer and broadcaster Chris Beardshaw, who has created a wildlife garden with special environmental features.
 
In addition, visitors can look forward to new dining options in the food court and the chance to tour the showground on one of the event's special floral rickshaws.
 
Tickets are priced at £8 in advance and £10 on the day. Members of the RHS can buy advance tickets for £7.
