Unspoken Shame, a new book by Rosalie Mulkey, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This is the story of two siblings who were physically and emotionally abused by their father throughout their childhood. Rosemary, the oldest, always promised to take care of her younger sister, Brittany, and vowed that one day she would get them both out of the home they both resented and feared. However, Rosemary ends up leaving her sister behind, never expecting the tragedy that falls upon Brittany. Rosemary lives with the guilt of leaving her sister, and Kevin, her best friend, encourages her to go back home to face the unspoken shame that not even Kevin knows about.

About the Author

Rosalie Mulkey was born and raised in Southern California, and she has three brothers and two sisters. Her mother was born in Germany, and her father was in the Army when they met during World War II. The two moved to California when they got married.

Mulkey has been married for 23 years and has two children, a daughter and a son, and one grandson. They are a very close family, and she loves to spend time with her new grandson, Zachary, who is the joy of her life.
