The End of the Beginning, a new book by Martha Lopez, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This is the story of a Mexican family who lived on the outskirts of Chiapas, Mexico. They lived in ignorance, suffering with hidden desires to uncover if there was some way to escape that harsh life of suffering from being poor and old. They desired a way out of all troubles that man must endure in order to live a so-called normal life.

From the beginning of time, man has searched for the secrets of eternal youth, and there has to be an answer to that. Old women's tales and wizards tell us that such tales are not made up for nothing. There are hidden secrets that only a few ever venture into and find that entrance into the passage of eternity. At a very high price, they meet a fate that can never again be reversed.

This is a story about just such an event. It can also happen to you, but be prepared to be a slave to forever. As the end of the old, you can never, ever return, and it can make no difference to you if you're willing to take a chance and let it happen to you.

About the Author

Martha Lopez was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 1945 to a Spanish father and Italian mother. She grew up caring for horses, as her family owned them, and she learned to ride while bringing in the cattle. She also began to make up stories of make-believe, mostly about scary stuff, and Lopez wrote for the high school newspaper.

She has now just finished a great story about two sisters, and it is full of intrigue and surprise in every direction.

The End of the Beginning is a 352-page paperback with a retail price of $26.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-8631-3. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
