California Jewelry Designer Carl Blackburn Makes Thailand Debut at Bangkok’s Galerie Supatana

Bangkok’s Galerie Supatana, at All Seasons Place, has become the city’s recognized fine jewelry pioneer, with exclusive exhibitions of the most talked about designers in the world. The gallery once again breaks exciting new ground with the city’s first showing of a Carl Blackburn couture collection.

A native-Californian, Carl Blackburn has exclusive ties to Le Cadeau Jewelers in Beverly Hills and other premiere retailers around the globe. He is among a notable group of fine jewelry designers who’ve received frequent world-wide press in recent years. His beautifully handcrafted collections inspired by the Edwardian and Art Deco periods helped fire enthusiasm for vintage-style jewelry from LA to New York to Tokyo.

The collection showcased at Galerie Supatana features several of Blackburn’s most widely sought-after pieces. A vibrant group of ultra-wide diamond eternity bands are among the showcase. Fashioned in colorful combinations of 18k pink gold and platinum, the popular rings feature dual streams of pavé set diamonds that surround Blackburn’s signature open scroll work. As in days gone buy, detailed hand-beaded edges completes the vision of the designer.

Founded by Thailand’s own award-winning jewelry designer Supatana Atorn-Phtai, Galerie Supatana is located on the ground floor of All Seasons Place. Her exclusive showcases are the first and only in Bangkok to exhibit world acclaimed jewelry brands such as London’s premiere jewelry designer, David Morris. Due to increased public interest in these timeless collections, Galerie Supatana is moving this month to a larger gallery space inside the “House of Mirrors” fine jewelry section of the new Paragon Center.
