The historic Lido Park Hotel located at 2216 Park Ave in Miami Beach, Florida's Collins Park neighborhood, is set to undergo a multimillion dollar renovation restoring the property to its former glory reports HotelProjectLeads.com a company that tracks hotel construction and hotel renovation projects throughout the United States and the World.

The 46 guestroom 14,979 square foot boutique hotel was built in 1934 and was originally designed by architect Harry O'Nelson. The hotel has been vacant for over eight years and was recently purchased by the Miami Beach based company Encotel LLC. The previous owner started to renovate the property but it never completed the project due to the real estate market crash.

The architect behind the renovation is: Bellinson Gomez of Miami, Florida. Features of the new hotel will include a guestrooms addition, new spiral staircases and a roof top terrace to include cabanas and a swim spa. "The renovation will highlight and restore the unique architectural features and details of this grand Miami Beach hotel," stated Les Bellinson the projects architect. "It will be a great addition to the Collins Park neighborhood."
