"Listen to a singer really sing for a change." – Liz Herrera says of the new Lovon Bond video.

These days, music videos feature lip-syncing, with artists gyrating and mugging into the camera as recordings of their latest singles play. But the unvarnished, un-auto-tuned voice of some of today's top artists has inspired some singers to put out videos that show them actually singing live.

Liz Herrera of The Plan A Project (and music co-producer/manager for Lovon) says that when she decided to film Lovon, she knew people were going to question whether his videos were auto-tuned and whether or not his voice was real. "He sings in such an unusual way, I thought why not let people see him actually make this magic while the camera is rolling?"
The result is Lovon's "Candlelight Series YouTubeVideos", featuring him singing medleys and original songs. Everything is done in one take, with no edits afterward. Lovon's soaring chest-voice falsetto runs up and down the scales fearlessly, like a trapeze artist working without a net. It is called the "Candlelight Series" because of the subdued lighting and the black-and-white presentation.

Lovon says, "We just go in the studio, turn on the camera, and I sing. We only have a guitar with us, so this is the purest you'll ever hear me."
Herrera says "Lovon delivers such a powerful vocal performance, if we use pre-recorded tracks everyone is going to think we faked it. The "Candlelight Series" shows him improvising, rising, falling and pushing his voice over the top."

Lovon, hopes to be one of those left standing after the fads have passed. "I hope these straightforward videos of me singing my heart out will go a long ways toward establishing me as a singer with staying power."
